Taking you on a journey to cocoa’s homeland, Nicolas Cloiseau unites the strength, originality and authenticity of Africa’s great grand cru varieties in a particularly raw blend. This dark chocolate’s powerful attack bewitches with its intense roasted bean flavour, which is then followed by cocoa notes and an exceptional bitterness. Its clean flavour evokes the cocoa’s raw power. Its potent, uncompromising character highlights African cocoa in all its immense breadth, in a tannin-rich chocolate that reveals a pleasant length on the palate.

Our chocolates are best appreciated at room temperature. We advise that you cut your chocolate in two and let it melt in the mouth to allow time for the flavors to develop. When you are tasting several chocolates, it is best to start with a plain chocolate, then move on to flavored varieties: first those with fruits, then spices, then alcohol.
