Between Gianduja and a milk petit rocher, the Chocolate Unhinged spread brings to mind a praliné just out of the cauldron, meltingly soft, and you just can’t wait to dip your spoon into it. The intense flavor of cocoa hazelnut, accented with slivers of almonds for added crunch, reinforce the image of a luscious creamy praliné.  Crunchy, silky, particularly gourmand and faithful to the Maison spirit, it will spread your palate with the delightful flavor of nuts showcasing hazelnuts enhanced with roasted almonds.

Tasting

We advise you to keep your chocolate spread in a dry place in its original packaging.

A thin layer of oil can be observed in the pots. We do not add oil in our spread recipe. This phenomenon is natual, the oil comes from the large amount of hazelnuts present in the spread. We advise you to homogenize the spread before savouring it.

Savoir-Faire and crasftsmanship

In keeping with our Maison’s sustainability commitments, the Chocolate Unhinged spread was created with just a handful of ingredients:  hazelnuts, sugar, whole powdered milk, cocoa, and roasted almonds.  Its luscious creamy texture, without palm or any added oils, is rich in the natural oil of hazelnuts that make up 42% of this recipe.  Nicolas Cloiseau, Master Chef of La Maison du Chocolat, decided to add roasted almonds to heighten the flavor of the nuts.  Enjoy at room temperature with a small spoonful or spread it.
