our creations...

Nicolas Cloiseau, Chef Creator at La Maison du Chocolat, and Benjamin Kuentz, French whisky editor, have combined their expertise to create the Alchimie Chocolat Whisky chocolate bar with an intense whisky taste, matured in oak barrels and alcohol-free (traces 0.5%). Their secret? The bar's pure Grenada and Ecuador chocolate, poured hot into a barrel just emptied of its whisky, absorbs the aromas captured in the wood and takes on the aromatic strength of the spirit.
In tune with the times, our two designers have signed this innovation with the firm intention of shaking up the codes of chocolate-spirit combinations. On the palate, a powerful, tangy fragrance of velvety dark chocolate with citrus notes and a whisky impression, without alcohol (traces 0.5%). 
This product is strictly reserved for adults over 18.

Tasting

Our chocolates are best appreciated at room temperature. We advise that you cut your chocolate in two and let it melt in the mouth to allow time for the flavors to develop. When you are tasting several chocolates, it is best to start with a plain chocolate, then move on to flavored varieties: first those with fruits, then spices, then alcohol.

Craftsmanship, gourmet treats and incredible uniformity 

The result of 3 years of research between Nicolas Cloiseau and Benjamin Kuentz, the Alchimie Chocolate Whisky Gift Box combines their know-how. Poured hot into a barrel just emptied of its whisky, the liquid chocolate from the Alchimie Whisky Chocolate bar is matured for several weeks in oak barrels. It absorbs the taste of the whisky inscribed in the wood, absorbs all the aromas and takes on the aromatic strength of the spirit. The process gives rise to the Alchimie Whisky Chocolate bar. Benjamin Kuentz collects his empty barrels still full of chocolate to blend a whisky liquor, with an incredibly chocolate nose.
