Chocolate and pastry, two staples of French pâtisserie, are combined in La Maison du Chocolat's sublime chocolate tart. Expert chocolatier Nicolas Cloiseau has created his own version of this classic dessert which is as stunning as it is delicious. Crisp shortcrust pastry is filled with a creamy dark chocolate ganache, topped off with an incredibly light and airy chocolate biscuit. The finishing touch to La Maison du Chocolat's chocolate tart? Delicate gold leaf. Textures and flavors are cleverly combined to create a dessert which is simultaneously smooth and crisp, creamy and light. Our chocolate tart is available in two sizes: individual tartlets or for four to six people. Know-how and art of ganache

Reflecting the brand's signature taste, La Maison du Chocolat's chocolate tart is the ultimate showcase for the craftsmanship of its chocolatiers.
Unlike other chocolate tarts, here the intense ganache (a melt-in-the-mouth mixture made with whipped cream, butter and finely chopped chocolate) is poured whilst hot into a sweet pastry base which has been previously baked blind. This creates a truly unique sensation as you bite into 1.5 cm of silky dark chocolate ganache with subtle notes of vanilla.
